Linda Gross Memorial Scholarship

The Circle for Children is proud to continue its long tradition of supporting promising, economically disadvantaged Georgia students as they pursue education after high school.

Named in memory of longtime Circle member Linda W. Gross (1948–2010), this scholarship honors her enduring commitment to education, community service, and The Circle for Children. Linda served in many leadership roles—including Treasurer, Finance Chair, and President (2000–2001)—and dedicated her life to supporting others.

Your donation to the Linda Gross Memorial Scholarship Fund helps continue the work that meant so much to her. Contributions are tax‑deductible as permitted by law.

If you have questions about the scholarship program or wish to recommend a student, please contact: [email protected]

Linda W. Gross
(1948-2010)
On February 13, 2010, the Circle for Children lost a very dear member and 25-year cancer survivor who is greatly missed by all. In addition to her passion for The Circle and uplifting those in need, Linda enjoyed reading, painting, playing tennis and bridge. She is survived by her husband of thirty-eight years, William E. Gross; her son, Matthew; her daughter, Kristin, their spouses, and several grandchildren. The Circle is deeply honored to carry forward Linda’s legacy. Her love for learning and unwavering commitment to service continue to inspire us.
