Dear Circle Member,
We Circle ladies are so excited that you have decided to join our wonderful organization. This is a BIG YEAR for our group—our 90th year!! Our roots go back to Tallulah Falls School when we were formed in 1927 as the Young Matrons Circle for Tallulah Falls School to help needy mountain children with their education. We are still meeting the needs of Georgia’s children, most recently at the Center for Children and Young Adults. We also still help needy children with college scholarships from Tallulah Falls School. This year, we will work with Wellspring Living.
Please note the following dates:
The Circle is composed of so many smart, compassionate, talented women, just like you. There is a way for everyone to help foster our purpose to help the needy children of Georgia. For you new members, we are looking forward to getting to know you at our New Member Party on October 8th and at our New Member Orientation on October 24th. We also have a fun and nostalgic trip planned back to our roots at Tallulah Falls School on November 7th. For returning members, we appreciate your loyalty and commitment to our purposes. This year will continue to foster new friendships, programs, and activities. We welcome our junior members, too, as our Junior Membership is a wonderful way to encourage growth in our organization and in philanthropy. You also have your own additional socials, so be aware of those announcements.
The Circle connotes many images—never-ending, never broken. There are Circles of Life, Circles of Love, Circles of Friendship, Circles of Influence, and Circles of Protection. We are all of these. Not only do we perform activities for the charity, but we get to know each other and to connect as long-lasting friends. Welcome!
